Details

The monitoring module is intended to record videos regarding the following activities:

  • pedestrians on the crossing,
  • cars approaching the pedestrian crossing, at the distance of 10-15 meters.

  • Dome cameras area located in the SmartPass casing above D-6 sign on both sides of the roadway. Thanks to the fact that cameras face each other, it is possible to record the entire passage of the pedestrian on the crossing, and eliminate the so-called blind spot.

    How to use the recordings?

The video recording is intended to establish the cause and circumstances of the road incident. The video is available solely to road authorities or the police and is not widely accessible. This means that unauthorized persons will not be able to watch recordings.

Where smart crossing videos are stored?

The videos from the speed control module are stored in the central unit memory in the form of high-resolution video files. Each of the files is marked with date and time. Thanks to this, you can easily find the recording which shows a road incident.

To enlarge video storage place, a special PC software intended to analyze recordings has been created. The software checks if the file contains foot traffic or car traffic. If not, the file is deleted. The video saved on the hard drive is available upon request of the ordering party for several days.
